Slow counts.
Every rep seen.
Small mat and reformer classes, never more than eight people, so every rep gets a second look.
InhaleExhale
The Hundred · 5 in, 5 out, 10 times
Every class starts the classical way: lying on the mat, pumping the arms through a hundred counts. Inhale to prepare, exhale to move. It warms the powerhouse and sets the pace for the hour.
01Classes
Every class follows the classical order and every class is 50 minutes. Start on the mat, add the reformer when you are ready, or work one to one.

We start on the mat
Every first class begins lying down with The Hundred, so you learn the breath before anything moves.

Teaser · balance on the sit bones
Mara came to Pilates after a running injury left her with a stiff back and a lot of questions. The classes answered them. She trained in classical and contemporary mat Pilates, then started teaching friends in a borrowed living room. Longspine is the studio she wanted to walk into: small, calm, and serious about form.
